Connecticut lottery to find a new sports betting partner

Rush Street Interactive and the Connecticut Lottery Corporation have announced a joint plan to end their online and in-person sports betting partnership in Connecticut.
THE CLC extension will start pursuing a new operator through a request for proposals in the coming days. CSR will continue to operate online and in-person sports betting in Connecticut on behalf of CLC extension until a replacement is selected. CSR and the CLC extension plans to transition existing sports betting operations during the second half of 2023.
Players on the PlaySugarHouse.com online platform or at any of Connecticut’s nine retail outlets can rest assured that all bets placed will continue to stand and all winnings will continue to be paid out.

Connecticut is one of over 30 states in the country with legal sports betting. Rush Street Interactive offers sports betting in many of these jurisdictions.
CSR the stock fell 3.5% Tuesday to about $3 a share.
