The World Series Of Poker will award 15 bracelets in the Bahamas this December

Fresh off a record-breaking summer in Vegas, the World Series of Poker has announced a new series of tournaments in the Bahamas that will take place from December 3 to 14 in partnership with GGPoker. WSOP Paradise will have 15 gold bracelets up for grabs at Atlantis Paradise Island. This adds to the record number of ways poker players can win a gold bracelet these days, both at the WSOP in Vegas during the summer, WSOP Europeand multiple series online both internationally and in select states.

WSOP Paradise features a total of 15 bracelet events, with a guaranteed prize pool of $50 million. Only the $5,000 buy-in no-limit hold’em main event has a guaranteed prize pool worth $15 million.
Other highlights include a $1,500 mystery bounty tournament with a $5 million guaranteed prize pool, and for the high rollers there’s a $100,000 buy-in event with an additional $5 million guaranteed, and a $50,000 buy-in event with a $2 million guarantee. There will also be several pot-limit Omaha events with seven-figure guarantees.
GGPoker sent a record 774 players this year WSOP main event in Las Vegas, and have committed to sending at least 1,000 players WSOP Paradise. The series will host a GGMillion$ event with a $25,000 buy-in and a $10 million guarantee.

The tournament series comes at a good time with the world-class property in the Bahamas completing many renovations and modernisations.

Atlantis is no stranger to hosting some of poker’s biggest tournament series each year. THE PokerStars Caribbean Adventure had been a mainstay for years in the Bahamas, and the Poker World Tour he had also featured it as a stage from previous seasons.
Speaking of WPTThey WPT World Championship tournament series will take place from November 29 to December 23 at the Wynn Las Vegas, facing the WSOP Bahamas series at the same time. It will be interesting to see if players flock to Las Vegas or the Bahamas this winter.
